Eclyse, a Zorse

With a Zebra for a mother and a horse for a father, Eclyse is living proof that children inherit the genes of both parents. Most zebra-horse crossbreeds have stripes across their entire body but, by a freak of nature, Eclyse is only partially striped.

Visitors to a German Safari park don't know quite what to make of Eclyse, its star attraction. Her head and rear are striped like a zebra, but the rest of her body and legs are snow white. The reason she looks so strange is that she's a "Zorse", her father being a zebra and her mother a horse. While most zebra-horse crossbreeds sport stripes across their entire body, Eclyse has only two striped patches, giving her a truly unique appearance.
